New tires for 2004 ML500

The Michelin Cross Terrain is no longer available for the 275 55 R17, which I really liked, the last set of Michelin Latitude HP Tour have lasted less than 15k miles, similar to the original Dunlaps when I bought the car new. Any ideas for a comparable tire to the Michelin Cross Terrain, with the same wheels? Michelin is saying that the Latitude is my only option. Thanks.

I searched and searched what owners rated high.
Best was the Conti Cross Contact LX.

I absolutely loved the Cross Terrains and absolutely hate the Lattitudes!
I was told by someone that the Hankook Ventus AS RH07's are really good in the snow and last longer than the lattitudes. In the next couple months I'm gonna get a set of those.

a car that can't do the throttle reset.
I've been debating, and think I am gonna go with the Yokohama Geolanders. First set were good, quiet, and had decent life.
