How to replace 2001 ML430 dash lights PLEASE HELP!!!!

I have a 2001 ML430 and the fuel gauge and speedometer lights are out. The tachometer is still illuminated. Can someone please tell me how I can replace these dash lights myself so as to save money. Thank you in advance for your help!!!!

Hi,

If you still need this info, I did mine a while ago. you need to take the guages out, they come out as a whole assymbly ( with the clear part too).
you need first to take the two trim parts out (to the right and left of the steering coulum) by pulling them carefully, and then take the third part that fills the space above the steering coulumn. then you should be able to remove the black plastic part around the instrument cluster. after that you will be able to see the screws that hold the instrument cluster to the dash. take them out and you should be able to move it from place ... a suffecient distane to allow you to remove the cable from it. change the bad bulbs, test them, and reinstall.
