Tire size ML 500 model 163
Can anyone please tell if I could fit 265/65/17 tires to my car without damaging the permanent 4x4 drive system. It currently has the standard 275/55/17 tires on.

only thing you have to worry about if you want to change the size is to make sure they are all 4 the same size.. if you try to mix different sizes front to rear on a 4wd system, you better make sure the rolling diameters are the same or else stuff goes boom.. also, if you are changing the tire sizes it could slightly affect the speedometer if they are too far off. With that small change you should be pretty close.
