transmission change??
my brother got into a minor accident...he has been driving it fine for well over a month before he got it fixed..so he got it fixed and the bixenons installed....but then the RPM thing wasnt working...so he brought it back to the dealer and they said he needs to fix the computer chip...so he did it....but now theyre saying that the MLs have to have their transmission changed every 4-5 years...is this true??or are they just trying to rip off my brothers insurence company???

BTW...it is a 99ML320

Trans change every 5 or 6 years??. Thats a joke. Have not heard of many trans problems. Find a new shop

what kind of shop is this...
Perhaps the tech confused the sparkplugs with the transmission, those do need to be changed every 4 years

I don't have a ML, but my 86' 560SEL still has her stock tranny and still very smooth. The guy must be drinking when he said that.
