P0112?

Hi All,

I'm having two issues with my 2005 ML500 with about 84,000 miles and I am not sure if they are related or not. I just replaced my MAF with a new OEM one from dealership- so I don't think that is the problem.

The check engine light is on and the code is P0112: Intake Air Temperature Sensor 1 Circuit Low Input. In addition to the CEL (no symptoms noticed, it is running perfect as far as I can tell and idle is smooth as silk) the auxillary fan is coming on at high at startup and running non stop until I shut the car down (and those fans sound like a jet taking off at high speed).

Any ideas? Is there even a separate intake air temperature sensor on the ML500? For some reason I was thinking it was incorporated into the MAF but I am certainly no expert.

When u changed out the MAF did you have the key on? Because when you have the key on and u unplug the MAF, the ME will have a stored intake air temp sensor code.
