Wet passenger carpet on ML 270

I've got a soaking wet front passenger carpet (very near the door plate) and not sure why. I've checked the rubber thing underneath to see if there's stuff blocking it and it doesn't appear that there is. We've not got a sunroof so can't be that. It doesn't smell chemically (so not sure it's the AC)...
any advice appreciated!
Thanks

The water is coming from a clogged or detached sliding roof drain tube which runs down the four corners of the roof drain.

Remove the right side A-pillar trim and you will see clear tubing. Open sliding roof and pour water into right side channel and watch water drain through tube. It is supposed to drain to the outside of the truck where the fender meets the door.

You will also have to remove the right side kick panel to see where the water is entering the inside.
