Question 2002 ML500 New Brake Component & Tire Recommendations greatly appreciated

Hello All, I drive a 2002 ML500. I will be doing a full front and rear brake job and would like recommendations on the best components for solid stopping with minimal dust and noise. Trying to avoid too much squeaking, if possible; but performance is most important. Also replacing tires and would appreciate recommendations for those as well. I drive mostly around town in S. California with some snow driving in the winter. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Replaced front & rear brakes/rotors in December. Stick with semi - met as opposed to ceramic. ML comes OE w/semi metallic. I have Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza on mine. It's a good tire. Good luck

Brakes and Bridgestones

Great advice on the brakes. Thanks! I was looking at the Bridgestone's. Have you driven them in the snow/ice? If so, how did they perform? Thanks for the reply!

I live in South East PA. I've driven them (Bridgestones) in a lot of snow. Never had a problem. Ice.... not to much, so I really can't say if they'll be good on ice. When the roads are iced up, I try not to drive. Good luck.
