I have an 04 ML500 with the built in Merc Command NAV/RADIO/CD.
The NAV, CD, AM radio work just fine... The FM doesnt. It quit yesterday.
Here are the symptoms:
When I hit scan, it scans very very fast and cannot find channels.
Sometimes it picks up a channel, but its very quiet no matter how much I raise the volume I can barely hear it.
What should i do? Is it the FM tuner that's out? The Antenna wire is unplugged?.. ... or the whole unit?

Open the tailgate and at the lower right corner where the hinge is, pull out the grommet and check the condition of the coax cable.
