What is the best product to use for patching bumpers on the ml320
from what I have read, the type of plastic that the bumper is made of matters, and what type do these ML320's use?
I've seen two different types of 3M product mentioned, the Duramax 4240 show on this site: http://www.bodyshopzone.com/archives.../Mercedes.html
and then what appears to be the 3m 059895 shown on this site:http://www.popularmechanics.com/cars...enance/2763656
the repairs themselves appear to be straight forward, just take your time, prep well, and work fast once you mix the epoxy.
from basic google searching, materials should be less then $75 with sealers /primers and fillers. ( I expect to spend $100 and 8 hours prepping the car prior to getting it ready to be shot with paint)
If anyone has some insight into doing a repair like this. Please I'd love to hear what you did.
thanks
Steve
Here's another less expensive product that should also work.
