Hello MBWorld. Is there any other place to buy a spare ignition key for a 2003 ML 270 CDI besides from the relevant State MBenz franchisee ? My faith in said franchisee is somewhat weak. Thanks

As was said in a movie..."Insight ! " Just had verbal advice from an interstate MB dealer parts manager that spare and/or replacement Benz keys will not ever be sold to any person here in Oz unless that person presents him/herself personally to the authorised Benz dealership with all relevant vehicle proprietorship documents plus proof of identity along with the relevant Benz.

This is true throughout M/B regardless of geographical location.
