Factory GPS/cell antenna retrofit
I recently purchased the latest factory roof antenna, with the intent of using it for a GSM cell phone only on my '98 ML320. The built-in wiring to the roof antenna, if I remember, is standard coaxial stuff. The new antenna has 3 separate small cables, 2 for GPS and one for phone. My choices appear to be: 1) replace the existing in-place cable with the new style. I have no idea how it's routed or how hard this would be--anyone? 2) Adapt the new style cable to the old coax--not sure if this is possible. 3) Get a different antenna with the appropriate cable connections.
Anyone have suggestions, please? I bought it through Clair and they have not returned my e-mails.

Pick up the correct antenna MB Part# Antenna - A163 820 0875
I am not sure if other antenna part#'s work for a 98' ML but I use this on my 98' ML for DVD NAV.
I don't know if you need the splitter/amp or small cable but if you do here are the part#'s
