OBD2 Compliant
Hi,
Can anyone please tell me if my ML320 ( W163 ) UK registed 3rd March 2000 - i.e. European Model is OBD2 compliant. I know that it uses the ISO 9141 Protocol but I don't know if an OBD2 scanner would work ? I understand that it was not until 1st Jan 2001 that European car's had to be compliant. The socket has pins 2 & 10 missing. When asking sellers on EBay if the scanners cover my car they say no because it's pre 2001, also not really sure if the sellers have particular manufacture knowledge, however as US cars had to be compliant from 1996 I'm wondering if Mercedes made all of their models compliant from 1996 ?
