2008 MLcdi Navigation System
My Navigation system has ceased to function and dealer has recommended $2000 solution, replace DVD Drive Processor (NAVI Head Unit). Anybody else had this scenario. Any other options for new or used unit at less expense?

You are on the wrong forum. This is the W163 ML (1998 - 2005) forum, you have a W164 ML. You may get better answers on that forum.
