Ghost problem?!

Ghost problem?!
Hey guys, perhaps this question has already been answered but i had no luck with searches...
i have a 2002 ml270 cdi, 94k miles pretty good history, until now...
have only owned it three months, had it serviced straight away; fluids, filters plugs etc.
but so many things seem to be going wrong with it lately; egr, fuel lines, sensors, the whole nine yards... £2.4k later i still have what i think is a gearbox issue.
1. while driving car gets stuck in gear, no lights on dashboard
2. while stationary most lights light up on dash, pull of and car wont change gear
3. while driving car gets stuck in gear and aforementioned lights come on, speedo stops working and fuel gauge turns into a yoyo...
car has been up on the star and obdII systems and cant find any relative faults...
has anyone got any ideas?
have tried gearbox service; fluid, filter, gasket, etc... also the issue with grease on the electrics but still no luck!
PLEASE GIVE ME SOME IDEAS, IM RUNNING OUT OF HOPE AND £££
