Hi, having problems with my ml 270cdi won't engage low range, i put it into neutral press low range switch then the light flashes 3 or 4 times the go's off what could be the problem?

very common. search the forum for low range. happens when you don't use low range for awhile

You can only engage the Low Range while in neutral. If you are doing that and it still does not engage, then set the parking brake and or block the front wheels. While someone is engaging the switch, strike the motor a few times with a small hammer (disregard the red arrow).
