Fuel filter guts pics
While I was at my indie getting my tranny sorted out I had him install my fuel filter that I couldn't do my self because I didn't have "the pliers".
It was on my shelf for a few years and I was itchin to see if it would make a diff gas mileage wise.
Check out the pics of my original filter guts with 135K on it.
I didn't find a large visible debris but the filter was either really thick material to begin with or so saturated with filth that my flash light would not shine through the material.
Sorry pic files to large won't upload

Sorry it was the first time uploading pics.
Had to figure out how to compress.
Here are the pics. My flashlight had fresh batteries and pics were no flash in the ones with the flashlight.
My truck did not have any issues per se other than mileage dropping into the 13-14 range. I would usually get 16-17 regularly.
First tank full I'm at 15mpg. So a slight improvement but I don't know if it's due to my driving routes etc.
I will post back after a few tank fulls.
