Passenger Seat Switch feels Broken
First off, ML 350 2007.
Passenger seat switch (the plastic part) feels loose in the hand but will lift/lower the front portion of the seat. The Forward and I assume rearward is non-op. It feels like the plastic handle part may be broken loose.
The tilt direction is normal feeling and operationally.
So. One question is, can I just pull the plastic handle part away... say towards the door? I cannot see anything under the seat from the front edge that looks odd.
Thoughts?

Why go to a board for a different car from mine?
I have a ML-350. the header on this W163 sub-forum says "ML-350".
The header on the 164 sub forum says GL 350...
please refer to this: http://www.thecarconnection.com/cars...s-benz_m-class

You say why go to a different board? Well it is because you have a W164 type vehicle which is on a different forum.
Look at the headed of the W163 forum which shows you ML's from 1998-2005.
Then click on the link of the W164 forum and you will see your 2007 ML 350 listed.
Try not to be too chesty, especially when you don't even know what type of vehicle you own.

Daytime: Slow and easy with 2006 SL500 & 2003 S430 . Night time: Hard and Fast with my wife
you guys are making things harder than it looks... and while we at this, I have always wondering why we all have to refer to these forums as W this , W that, or R this or R that.. why not just simply call these SL 500 class forum, SL600 AMG class, S500 Class or S500 AMG class, C63 AMG , etc.

Even though a 2003 - 05 ML350 carries the same model name as a post 2005 ML350, the pre-2006 vehicle (W163) is a TOTALLY different product than the post 2005 vehicle (W164). The W163 is a body-on-frame "truck", while the W163 is a unibody "crossover" vehicle. There are next to no carry-over part numbers. These are the reasons that the two models are separated in different forums here as well as in other portals (benzworld.com, pointedthree.com, etc.).
