Sunroof - piece of long black rubber fell off - what is it?

Please see picture. It's a piece of all black rubber that looks like a weather stripping fell off from the sunroof. It's been a few months now. Surprisingly, the sunroof does not leak water or produce any extra sound. What is this piece? How do I put it back on? Do I need a new part from MB, if so, how much is it?

Not sure what year or model you have. Can't seem to find an exploded view with part numbers at the moment. But if you are sitting in the truck, it goes to the rear of the open sunroof, on the vehicle. fits along a thin strip across the back. I put a few dabs of 3M adhesive inside the rubber channel to keep mine from falling out. Sorry for the lack of detailed info on my part. Hope this helps.

I have the same exact issue on my 2000 ML320 with skyview roof. If I take it through a mechanical car wash (which BTW, never do to a nice car), this piece reliably always comes off in the process. it fits right in front of the skyview roof windscreen
