2001 ML320 with 29k miles..Found a Gem or has it not been driven enough?

In the market for a ML320 and came across a 2001 with just under 29,000 miles. Carfax is clean and has been serviced at a Mercedes dealer since new. One owner vehicle. My uncle had two of these (still owns one with over 150k miles). Drive it to the shore once and i was sold.

I just want to know if its a deal you owners would take if you were looking for a ml and had the cash. Dealer is asking 13,900 ($980 over kbb value) and Id negotiate that the best I can.

Summarized the carmax key services below. Let me know what you think !

2003 @ 7k miles:power steering hose replaced.

2007 @ just under 17k miles:
Drive belt and or tensioner replaced, washer nozzles replaced, spark plugs replaced, coolant flushed and changed, valve cover gaskets replaced, wiring harness installed, air and fuel filters changed,

Start of 2009 @ 20,200 miles: electrical system checked , yaw rate sensor replaced, battery replaced

Start of 2010 @ 21,900 miles: maintenance performed and coolant checked

March 2010 : pre delivery inspection completed recommended maintenance performed, power steering hose replaced,

Start of 2013: title issued or updated duplicate title issued,
28,700: listed as dealer vehicle sold at auction.

Posted for sale few weeks later.

Most of the trips to the dealer also note "vehicle serviced".

Thanks for your input!

I'd just be concerned as to why all that major service was done to a vehicle that was barely broken-in..."belts replaced, spark plugs replaced, yada, yada, yada". That's just me though. Could just be a steal of a deal though.

You may have found a gem.

I have a 2000 ML320 that I purchased new. I have had some of the items you posted, not all;the warranty was tops then and a lot of that stuff could have been warranty work. I would have to say look at the book value and decide based on price if it fits your needs. It is a dependable vehicle with a lot of advanced technology. I have 64k and change on my ML, it runs like a top. Check the stickies someone posted a list of things to lookout for. There is a wealth of information here and if you are handy and want to get your hands dirty a lot of the things you can do yourself. It is probably one of the easiest there is to change the oil I have ever owned.

These are very reliable cars with some quirks. Maintenance is done not only by mileage but also by time.
