Bose sound system Autopilot problems
I’ve been experiencing problems with the Bose sound system in my 2003 ML500. The Bose Autopilot appears to go crazy at times. For instance, the sound volume is set fine as I’m driving along, then I pull up to a traffic light and the volume increases two fold. I turn it down to a reasonable level and then pull away from the light and the volume decreases to a level that now I can hardly hear.
Has anyone else heard this problem? I saw one post suggesting turning it off, but frankly the Autopilot feature sounded nifty so I want to get it working properly.

Mine cuts the volume of the radio in half as it trys to give a voice promt when on auto pilot. You can't here the voice but the screen tells you where to go. I'm going to leave it alone. No sense in risking that they will make it worse when trying to fix it.
