Key FOB Issue

I recently bought my 00ML 320. It came with a brand new Key/Fob and also came with an old key/fob. The new key works to start engine etc. The Keyless entry on it doesn't work even after I resync it. The old key won't start the engine "start error" but the Keyless entry works on it. I tried to resync the new fob with no avail. Can anyone tell me why I can't resync the working key/fob for keyless entry, but the old"starting error" fob works for keyless entry? I tried swapping the batteries from the old fob into the new, but that didn't do anything. I talked to MB service on the phone any said he didn't know.. How would I go about getting the new fob to function for keyless entry? Thanks!

Buy one of these empty Chinese fob cases.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Remote-KEY-CASE-for-Mercedes-Benz-C36-C43-CL55-E55-AMG-/310677923505?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4855d8e6b1&vxp=mtr
Then carefully split open the fob that starts the truck with a Duo knife and remove the small chip.

Then do the same to the fob that opens & locks the truck and remove the large printed circuit board.

Then finally remove the newest key blade that you want to use, with a very thin pin punch and transpose everything into the Chinese fob.

Thanks! I opened up both fob's and switched the circuit board from the old and put into the new. Works great! Greatly appreciated!
