The lift gate struts on my 2001 MB 320 just plain wore out. Ordered new ones but need to know what to do to remove the old ones and replace with the new ones. I'm not too mechanical but was told this would be an easy task! Thanks

 

You must have a helper or two to hold up the tailgate, as it is extremely heavy..
