ML430 Misfire of hell
Hello all!
I'm new to this forum and am a big lover of Mercedes. However I have an issue with my ML, the other day I was going up a steep hill and the car slowed way down and check engine light started to flash. Once i got home i hooked the car up to the OBDII and said codes P0300 PO301 P0302 P0303 P0304 random misfires. So I changed the plugs, the wires, the coils and still it misfires. I tried to see if it was a vaccum leak went under the hood sprayed brake cleaner yet not engine revs. Although while i was under the car, it had a noise as if someone was sucking on a straw and nothing was in the cup. Any ideas what this could be? All help appreciated oh and i forgot to mention that the car is a 2000 ML430 W163

Don't you think the sound you described is of a vacuum leak? Forget the brake cleaner - do a forum search, find the right diagram to help you track it down by checking the entire intake air system for cracks, faulty seals, and knocked-off hoses.
