I suggest you don't waste any more money on this. The fob won't start your car, even with the key cut, because of the immobilizer system.
Spare keys can only be bought from MB dealers.

This is false, I purchased an eBay key fob case and it works because the internals were swapped. I just need to figure out where to get the darn thing cut.

You are talking about totally different thing. The OP is talking about fully functional key. You are talking about changing the plastic cover. Moral of the story is DrX is right.

From the original post it Drillinu is not stating what fob he bought, it sounds as if he bought the new plastic case FOB as I did with a blank key. Also I found that the key itself can be swapped with the set pin so I did not even need to have it cut.
