Leaking washer fluid
The wife told me that her low washer fluid light came on. I bought some washer fluid and filled it up. I noticed a little bit was dripping but thought that I might have spilled a little bit. She went out to do something and when she came back she said it was dripping and there was a puddle underneath. I went out and checked and she was right. It was dripping and about 1/4 was lost since I had filled it up eariler that day. It is still dripping and probably empty now.
I am going to take it to the dealership to fix under warranty but what is the problem?

The problem is the seam on the washer reservoir
Your good for a new part Nb: 163-860-11-60
The reservoir is made of two halves which are joined by a seam that does tend to lose its integrity after a while.
Just one of those things that has been plaguing the ML since day one and that MB can't get resolved from whomever the supplier is. Sad and irritating!
