best tires for new england winter, best tires for the rest of the year?
i am looking into getting some tires i would like to get some all season tires that would be good in the winter snow in new england! i know i usually buy a extra set of rims and have winter tires and then then summer tires! but i wouldnt mind getting some tires that will do it all! nokian tires i was looking at i really think thats what i am gonna get for winter but if i use them all year round will they get worn out quick? i dont want to have to buy a set of tires every year or 2 year. i figure this is the best place to ask see what everyone has used and liked and disliked? i have a all wheel drive 99 ml430 thank you in advance!!

Hi! I live in Norway where wintertires are mandatory! You can probably go with the BFG A/T o.l. and get a tire that is all season, and all terrain. However, all season tires have no where near the traction and safety of proper wintertires! I go with Nokian Hakkapelitta R2 SUV 235/65-17 for winter, and OEM approved Michelin Lattitude Diamares 275/55-17 for summer!
