I know this sounds crazy, but my neighbor is looking for a plow rig to replace his 1999 Jeep Cherokee with 235k and a plow. He plows just a few residential driveways, nothing more, and he does not want a big truck. The cherokee has worked well for him The last few years but is rotted out and another clean cherokee is $8000 + and are hard to find. I thought the ML may be able to get the job done being it is body on frame construction. It sounds crazy to me, but he does not want a truck and the ML has good sight lines like the jeep. He also wants something a bit nicer as he has got too use to his 2014 grand cherokee overland. I know the plow would have to be custom mounted, but can it be done. Any advice would be appreciated!
