New ml320 owner. What is 2.8 emblem?

New ml320 owner. What is 2.8 emblem?
Hi,

Just (yesterday) bought a 2002 ml320 in beautiful condition with low miles. The emblem on left side of rear hatch says ML320 Quattro, I know it must be a 3.2L engine or it wouldn't be a 320 right? On the lower right side of rear hatch is a 2.8 emblem, what does that mean?

It means someone had nothing better to do than stick emblems on the car that dont belong there.
ML320 has a 3,2 Litre engine.
