What do you mean the trans is full of fluid??? Check properly the fluid level. Wrong level can cause all sorts of issues. Secondly, when last did you have a tranny flush & filter change?
With the car idling (P) check the fluid level with a transmission dipstick.

The fluid should only be checked with the car at operating temperature. It has different consistencies at different temps. From what you're indicating I would suggest that if everything is ok as you suggest the fluid is low.

Sorry guys I was cutting to the chase. Trans fluid was flushed and filled properly by mb about a month ago. And the problem was there before and after no change. I also have the tool and double checked my dealer at full operating temp and all looks good there. It doesn't do it every time but more than not. I know it acts like a low fluid problem but all is good there. The conector and o-rings were changed along with motor and trans mount. I build motors for jet boat drag racing but never got into trannies in my studies.
Thanks

I know you had M/B do the flush, but you must consider the fact that they did not change the filter.
If that filter is clogged it will take a longer time at idle speed for the fluid to return to the bottom of the pan.
You have no alternative but to drain the fluid and replace the filter yourself. Continued use of the truck with this problem will burn your clutches out.

The filter was changed. When I dropped it off I asked for and got the old filter in the new filter box. I always ask for my old parts when I have work done. Some old parts tell of other conditions. I also asked for a phone snap shot of the magnet on the pan before it was cleaned. It looked fine. No clumps or garbage. If I don't have the time to do the work I make sure it's as if I were there. I am very particular.
