Loud thump under seat when staring from stop
Please HELP!!! I have a loud thumping sound that feels like its coming from underneath the drivers seat. This only happens when you are stopped and start again. If you baby it, it doesn't happen. I changed the transmission mount thinking this was gonna fix the problem but, oh wait!, I own a mercedes... nothing has been simple, so it still isn't fixed. I have checked the carrier bearing and it seems to have no play. The flex plates don't appear to have any cracks or anything in them but i didn't take a light to them to see for sure if there was any. Also there is a sound coming from the vehicle like the wheel bearing is bad, but the bearing has no play. There was very little play in the CV axel but I changed that and still no change in sound. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME! I cannot seem to find either problem or if they are even somehow related. PLEASE HELP ME FIX THIS!
