Have a 2000 ML320. Afraid the devils and demons are working on it. These things happen off and on. Goes into limp mode, speedo does not work and red brake comes on, if I turn the engine off and restart it may be Ok. when pulling away door locks go off like a machine gun, cannot lock it. Sometimes I get up in the morning, car has been in the garage all night and the radio is on, even turned off, key taken out etc. The other morning the radio was on and the hazard warning lights are flashing. Sometimes the car is off and the entire set of dashboard idiot lights come on. I was driving the other day with 3/4 tank of gas and the yellow fuel low warning light started flashing. What the heck is going on?

I wish I had a little more to offer then say, calling a priest over and a few gallons of holy water to wash the car in?
Have you had it to a dealer and plug in the Star diagnosis system, it might be a real goose chase otherwise. Sounds for sure like a computer issue, or module of sorts controlling the electrical. What about disconnecting the battery for an hour, see if anything resets?
Good luck and will stay tuned to see what help offers you relief!

Before calling the exorcist have the car scanned for codes & post them.
