Exclamation 2002 ML500 Crank Position Sensore 1 lock, 2 lock?

Here's tough one...... I have a 2002 ML500.
I want to change the crank position sensor (CPS), and am a little confused on which one to order.
I haven't pulled the connector yet to check, since my car is down south and want to order a new one for pre-failing maintenance measures when I get home in a couple weeks. Car has 83,000 miles on it, bought second hand, and probably never been changed. So for peace of mind, am changing it out. When looking on line to order one, there are 2 types, the single and the double clip connector. How do I know what I'm ordering for a sure fit, beforehand?
