What model years are wired for satellite radio?
I've read here on the forum that its MY 2004 and up that are prewired for Sirius sat radio. Is this true?
I might be in the market for a used ML500 and if a 2003 doesn't have satellite radio I might as well bump up my search to 2004.
Thanks

the information I have is as follows;
Early model year 2004 MCS with part number 163 820 03 79 have a SVC service button. Later in the year an MCS with SAT button became available as of VIN 489 208 with part number 163 820 05 79.

Rusting out pretty good I guess. I figure I can probably get another winter out of her before the gas tank falls out. lol
