Recommended shock absorbers for 2000 ML 270 W163
Hi,
Being new here at MBworld, I thought of this to be the one place to obtain an answer to the following:
I am looking to replace the rear shock absorbers of my 2000 ML 270, and cannot decide on what brand and type to use. I would like to avoid spending too much, so MB springs is out of the question.
I have looked at the Bilstein B4 and according to the web, it seems like these will give you about the same quality as the original ones. Any thoughts?
Alternatively is the Bilstein B6 as a substantially higher price.
Last you have a German brand called Meyle, but they seem to be lacking quality.
Any input on what brand/type to use will be greatly appreciated.
