ML320 oil will not drain!
Have a 2000 ML320. Pulling into driveway Friday PM low oil light lit. Shut car off and let it sit. Saturday purchased 8 quarts (2 gallons) of Mobil 1 5W 30 and new filter. Pulled drain plug using 10MM allen wrench and less than one gallon of oil in catch basin. Replaced filter and O-rings. Replaced oil with new 5W 30, let car idle, and tried to drain again. Nothing, less than a 1/4 cup.
Let car idle for 30 minutes and tried to drain. Nothing. Today purchased a quart of engine flush. Idled as on directions, cold engine, five minutes, still no oil from drain plug. Siphoned excess oil out of dip stick tube to bring level back to normal.
Oil siphoned out is warm. Oil reservoir, where drain plug is is cold.
What next?

Most probably you have drained the front diff & not the engine oil. If you have made a mistake don't drive the car until the you have filled the diff.

The sump drain plug is a 13 mm bolt, on the right side of the sump which is at the bottom of the engine.
You drained your front diff like this owner did: http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w163...ing-trans.html
As Art said, you need to buy the correct gear oil from your MB dealer and refill the diff before you drive anywhere. Otherwise you could destroy the diff. Alternatively, you can use any oil in the "90" column of this page: http://bevo.mercedes-benz.com/bevolisten/235.0_en.html
