2000 ml320 won't idle
I have a 2000 ml320 .. I just had my intake gaskets replaced, all vacuum lines replaced , new plugs and wires and also valve cover gaskets .. now car will not run .. it will start and run fine but you have to hold pedal down and rpms must be over 2000.. If you let off pedal it just dies.. I was getting 1 , 2 and 5 misfire but cleared and hasn't came back .. bas light is on and will not come off .. cleaned mass sensor and map sensor .. checked all fuses .. checked fuel pressure and all plugs and wires .. vacuum doesn't seem to be strong.. egr was removed and cleaned and pretty sure lines are hooked up correctly .. cleaned both check valves .. Please help .. was doing all this as a favor for free and now this .. I do have a scanner and not a beginner as I have been working on cars for 15 years .. I'm just lost with this car

You may have a vacuum leak. Removing & cleaning the EGR tube involves removing (pulling up)a plastic connector for the vacuum lines, in order to reach the 2 bolts holding the pipe to the engine. Now, putting the said connector back in its place involves properly pushing it gently into its place. That could be the source of your leak. Part #158 in the PDF

Scan the car & post the codes
PS part #158 can be deceptive. It might look that its sitting in its place. Try gently (no force at all) pulling it upwards & check if it does move. If it does it is not sited properly

You just need to double-check everything, and if you don't find it, start removing and re-installing things like valve covers to check for an improperly fitted gasket.
