Car wont turn over - troubleshooting tips?
Hi, I have a 1997 ML350 that wont turn over (no clicks or anything) with the key. If I turn on the ignition, spray some starter fluid in the intake, and jump the starter relay it will fire up for a few seconds.
Does anyone have, or have a link for, the the troubleshooting steps for no start out of the service manual? If not, what are the usual culprits? No fuel + no start with a key sounds almost like some sort of immobilizer system...?

Please go to your car & look at the boot & post exactly the letters you see. There are no ML350's made in 1998 or 1999 or 2000 or 2001 or2002.
How do you expect to get help when you don't know what car you own?
