ML God, questions

ML is at the shop now. They say it needs a new driveshaft bearing that will cost 550 dollars, new plugs for 360 dollars, and a brake fluid and coolant flush, 98 dollars each. The car is a 99 wiht 51k miles, does this sound normal? This service will be over 1k, i hope this doesnt keep happening

Hey Al,
I had the driveshaft bearing problem, but it was replaced under warranty. My service advisor at FMW, hehe, let me know about it that it could be a potential problem in the future. He told me that it could be recall for it, but didn't know, instead he just told me he would get it replaced under warranty anyhow to save headaches in the future.

Maybe ask your service advisor to see if he can cover under warranty? Any good relationship with your dealer and/or SA can usually get warranty stuff repaired, even though your about 1k over (tho, not sure about the year, but they usually can bend over backwards for good customers).
