I wanted some low end kick with my stereo setup but didn't want to take the usable space in the rear so this was the solution. I made two fiberglass enclosures to fit a 12" sub on each side. How I got enough air space for 12"? The box is a perfect fit and actually extends into the opening hole of each side where there is the pocket door for accessories. The box is mounted using the factory threaded areas (screws mounted from inside the box) I wrapped the box in carbon vinyl to match the theme inside the vehicle. It is unreal how the bass response is. I had a factory Pioneer rep listen to the cars bass and said to me he never heard these sub sound like this as he mentioned they sounded like the non flat subs hitting hard. Everyone who listened to the subs found it hitting solid with no distortion. As a former IASCA competitor, I even approve of the bass quality. Not bad for a $100 sub. But of course the enclosure has everything to do with how it sounded
