2000 ML430 Nav Question
Hi all, thanks in advance for the help on this one!
I have a 2000 ML430. The radio/nav stopped working.
EDIT - Upon further googling, I see the NAV system is actually located in the head unit itself, so I need to get an exact year 2000 head unit with the navigation built in. Can someone let me know the part number / model number of what need? If I buy the MSC unit without the nav in the top slot, can I remove it from my old nav radio and install it into the new radio? Is there a how-to on this?
Can I use the "A 163 820 21 86 - Model RA4910" radio that does not have the in dash CD by putting the nav disc in the 6 CD changer in the rear or do I need one with the CD in dash for the NAV? I also see a part on ebay "A 163 820 20 86 - Model NV4BN110" but not sure this would work either?
If I am mistaken in the above part numbers, can someone update me, I think the "20 vs 21" is just a newer version, correct?
