I have a 1999 ML430. I bought this vehicle as used.
The issue here with the car is that the remote control for the opening and locking of the doors suddenly stopped working.
how do I fix this unfortunate problem, please?
The fault was suspected to be the BCM Module 1635454632 CONTROL UNIT. How do i get this component replaced and reprogrammed to function again?

Let's settle an issue that you have created. You list a 2000 ML 430 in the left hand column. Then you list a 1999 ML 430 in the title of your thread. Then in the body of your story you say you have a 1999-2000 ML 430.

Don't you think this is a little confusing to everyone else except you? If it is actually a 1999 then there is no change necessary. But if it is a 2000, then please UPDATE YOUR profile CORRECTLY.

Have you checked the batteries in the remote?

I bought brand new batteries for the remote and changed the old ones, but it did not work either. So its not the remote batteries.
