![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Does anyone know of an MB accessory or aftermarket handle/strap/other that makes closing the rear hatch a little easier?
I know I should clean the vehicle more, but the rear door is usually dirty, and I prefer to grab the doorjamb insert to keep my hands clean and avoid little fingertip prints along the outside. However, that jamb handle only gets me so far before I have to put my hand on the outside somewhere. Sports/500/AMGs may have more of a problem because of the extra plastic body molding that pinches your wrist before the door gets down to the point where the it drops shut. I added an MB license plate ledge on our E320 (works great!), but it doesn't help the ML situation much.

Rear hatch hard to close...
Might try the M-B Trunk Handle ($19.00); I have one on my E320 and like the fact that I don't have to touch the deck lid to close it.
