Secondary Air Pump no power going to it ...please help
Hi, everyone (this is for a 2002 ml500)
I have a check engine light for P0410, and I first started with replacing the secondary air pump because the first one was fried, the new one is installed and I don't hear it running, so i removed the connector and realized that the wires are fried. I checked the fuse and thats ok, and I'm not sure if the relay is good or not, but I did replace it with the rear wiper motor relay to see if i can get a 12v light to light up when connected to the secondary air pump wires on a cold start and no light.
Is it possible that by the wires being fried (they look dark brown not a nice copper color) this may be causing for it not to recieve any power? Also is there any other relays or fuses that I would have to check for why it is not working? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!
