ML 500
new radio help

I just got a 2004 ML 500, and I want to replace the stock receiver with my aftermarket unit.

The ML has a Bose system, and someone also told me that it probably uses fiber for audio connections.

Is there any easy way to accomplish this? Do I need a special wiring harnesses?

If you are changing just the Head Unit, you cant use the bose amp & you cant use the stock speakers, you need 4 ohm speakers.
If you are installing a new amp as well ,then you can use the stock speakers.
In any case you cant use the bose amp

E320 Estate for wafting and M3 SMG for blasting!
Easiest way is buy a new amp, then put that where the BOSE amp is and use the wiring that comes from that to the speakers, so all you will need to add is power and rca from the new head unit.
