I would expect to pay invoice or less. The ML sales are not doing well, you should get a pretty good deal on one. Too bad im not in the market for one.

 

Mecedes would need to have some serious incentives in place for a dealer to sell you a vehicle for what they paid for it. I got a great deal last July on an 03 but that was due to the incentives available for the end of the model year.

Sorry, I forgot to say what the deal was ... $42K for an 03 with upgraded sound system with CD changer and sunroof.

 

According to most sources, 2004 is the last model year of the current ML. The new one (W164) should be out late this summer as an '05 model, with a short and long-wheelbase model (short being slightly smaller than current ML, long slightly bigger), along with the new R-Class.

So price-wise the best time to buy an '04 ML would be right when the new one comes out, when the dealers will be desperate to drive out the '04 models. If you go towards an '05, try to make it as late-model as possible, as early models of any car have issues, of course.
