Will be purchasing a 1999 ML430 soon: Good Deal?
Hello all. First post here. I plan to purchase a 99 ML430 with 98k miles from an aunt. This will only be a third car in the garage. Figured that for $3K, not a bad deal. I'm trying to bring the price down to $2.5K though.
Known problems:
AC not blowing cold air
Rear door lock not activating
Other than that, it has been serviced by the book.
Can I just add freon via cans bought from AutoZone?
And is the door lock mechanism a common problem and is there an easy fix?
Lastly, should I go for it?
