a car that can't do the throttle reset.
gas peddle play...
I was driving my 01 ml55, when i noticed some play in the gas peddle. when i got home i grab it with my hand and try to shake it...it moves like more than a half inch each way..left to right!!!! what kind of crap is this!?! and i bet MB tries to make we wait the normal 6weeks for service on it.

All the MLs I've seen are the same, so it's normal.

My 02 does not do that, neither did my 98. Perhaps someone kicked it inadvertantly from the side, hard and dislocated the hinge or bent the hinge.
