The basic procedure is the same. You'll need different parts though for the MY98. I believe the sliding pin removal and the wear sensor assembly are different.

I have to do the same on my 98 soon. If you get to yours first, let us know how it went...

I had to have my pads and rotors all replaced when I took my car in for a ton of warranty work at 38,000 miles. I asked the manager when I had my front brake pads replaced last. He said at 30,000 miles. Does this makes sense to a)replace the front pads at 8,000 miles and b) to need to replace the rotors all around at 38,000 miles? Looking for some input.

I've replaced 3 sets front rotors at 47,000 (meaning car has used 4 sets since new). Rear on second set. Wonderful machine yes?

Tried Brembo replacement parts last set (MB OEM). No help, still wear out long before any reasonable designer would have planned for.
