Where is the best buy to on dvd nav for 03 ml350
The one option that I wanted but the ml did not have was nav. I have been told that it is a simple slide in unit above the tape deck. Is this true that there are no other parts to buy other than the unit and the disc? Other than ebay and the dealer is there another source?

You only pay $995.00 for DVD Navigation System as an option when buying your ML so I assume you could get it for the same price if you go back to the dealer that sold you your ML. If you can get it for that price it would be a good deal.
It does just slide in above your cassette deck. But you would need an antenna and you would need to bring it to the dealer to have it version coded in order for it to work.
Here is my publication on the retro fit of DVD NAV into a 1998 or 1999 ML but you can see how it slides in:

You could also try:
WWW.CLAIRPARTS.COM
