Dealership wont activate my HID's... HELP!

I recently had 8000k HID's installed into my 2002 ML320, mind you my car has Halogeon headlights, not bi-xenon... anyway, my dealer refuses to activate them, and Its being a pain in the butt trying to find someone who can do a simple 5 minute process by going into the DAS and activating the xenons to present. Anyway, i was wondering if any of you NJ guys has a dealership that would do it, regardless if they bought the truck there or not. Here is a list of dealerships that definately said no...

Places That Declined:
Prestige Motors, Inc. Paramus (201) 265-7800
Contemporary Motor Cars, Inc. Little Silver (732) 842-5353
Mercedes-Benz of Morristown Morristown (973) 267-5000
Globe Motor Car Corp. Fairfield (973) 227-3600

Places To Contact:
Intercar, Inc. Newton (973) 383-8300
Mercedes-Benz of Cherry Hill Cherry Hill (856) 663-3200
David Michael Motor Car of Freehold Freehold (732) 462-5300
Mercedes-Benz of Princeton Lawrenceville (800) 797-3216
Millennium Automotive Group Bridgewater (908) 685-0800
Precision Cars of Atlantic City Corp. W. Atlantic City (800) 645-6115
Ray Catena Motor Car Corporation Edison (732) 549-6600 (?)
Benzel-Busch Motor Car Corp. Englewood (800) 493-6514

Out the places listed, do you know if any of them will activate my lights? Thank you so much!

Can't blame them for not doing it. They are most likely not MB units and they do not want the liability nor the legal responsibility if they are in fact illegal lights. They have too much at stake.

no, HID's absorb 35 watts of power. Halogens absorb 55 watts of power. How much current runs through the circuit? Does anyone know? 55w is a measure of power, ohms are the units for measuring resistors. Basically you need to add a resistor to make the total system absorb 55w of power.
